Custom Music

Add a touch of personality and uniqueness with music close to your heart. Here are some projects I have done in the past.

I am always adding new music! Visit my channel at youTube for new postings.

Anime themed wedding

Greta and Shay love the Japanese animation Howl’s Moving Castle.  Working together, we customized sections of the ceremony with music from the movie.  We used the waltz like introduction of the opening theme, Merry Go Around of Life, for Greta’s entrance. The end theme, Promise of the World, is played during signing of the registry. The recessional was also Merry Go Around of Life, but I created a special arrangement from a livelier section.

Wedding with harp, baritone and soprano

Capri came from a musical family and was a dancer from New York City. She envisioned a dramatic yet intimate wedding at her estate farm. Together with her professional baritone friend and a soprano from In Performance, we enhanced the candle light filled wedding with music by Debussy, Ravel, Faure and Schubert. Repertoire includes Ravel’s Five Greek Melodies, Debussy’s Fleur Des Bles and Beau Soire, and Schubert’s Ave Maria.

Song for the bride, composed by the groom

Kanaiya wrote a song to propose to Tiffany and they want to use the song for Tiffany to walk down the aisle. The original song was a piano composition. I transcribed and created a harp arrangement to match the processional. After the ceremony, the groom’s sister came to me and said the song reminded her of their childhood times!  For this wedding, I provided a second consultation to confirm the song’s form and structure. A digital copy was also provided for rehearsal and as a keepsake.

Song for the groom

It’s a destination wedding for Doan and Jesse. They found me online and we coordinated mostly via email and long distance call. Doan wants to surprise Jesse with his favourite rock song, Love Walks in by Van Halen. I arranged it on the harp and played the acoustic version during the ceremony. I also provided an electronic remixed with synthesizer for them as a keepsake.

Duet with the groom

Issac wanted to play Canon in D while Helen is walking down the aisle, but it’s been 10 years since Issac has played flute. After a few consultations, we decided to have me play the accompaniment. We had a few rehearsal and I provided mp3 for Issac to practice at home.
